This needs to be repealed, a tax on money that was already taxed. Sorry POS's everyone of them. Then again they raided the SSA account to pay for the Vietnam war so nothing new from those clowns in DC.

Actually Social Security 'contributions' haven't been previously taxed. They're deducted from paychecks, and not included in the amount on which income tax is due.

Not that I like the idea that they're taxed upon payment, but it's not double taxation.

Just a note here. If you are self employed, you pay 15.3 self employment tax rather than medicare and SS taxes.
You are allowed to deduct only half of that amount from income.

85% of SS benefits are taxable when you reach a threshold. That threshold does put the this tax burden on the blue collared middle class. As the middle class is eleminated, this government income stream will be run dry.
