I stopped by a buddy’s farm to fill up a feeder. I went in the house for a few minutes and when I came back out he was slowly moving across the concrete. The snakes den up under the old house we stay in. Family came from Hobbs, Roby, Sweetwater, and Abilene....early 1900’s I caught several out there from the 80’s to about 2015.... Most had green tails and several had red skins.... Caught a pair around 2010 and had them about five years. They shed several times and remained red in color.

Camping at Texoma one year i had one take shelter between my rain fly and tent. I was not bothering anyone. My ex's cousin got there and decided it was a threat. I was not happy. Now black widows are dead on site.
