Well after 6 years We are back in the lease hunt for 2021. Our landowner in Oklahoma decided to sell the land that we’ve been hunting for years without telling us and we had to hustle to get all our gear off of it before it became the new owners. The new owners have no interest in leasing it, so my question is what is the best way to find another lease these days? We are a group of 5 experienced, family oriented, management minded hunters with all our own gear and food plot implementation equipment.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I have had good success finding leases here. Sorry to hear of your lease lose. That sucks the way everything went down for you. I have seen some Oklahoma leases available not that long ago posted in here.you might want to check that out.

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

duckman has a long list of Ok leases available on this thread ------ Ok. leases dont attract many Tx hunters,,, out of state license and the season is only 2 weeks long. Nov 21 to Dec 6 .
Finding a lease in Tx that you describe will be a challenge, but doable. Probably this forum is a good starting point.

Shoot me a pm with your contact info and I’ll let you know what I run across. I’m not sure where your wanting to hunt but I do a lot of work for landowners in SE Ok and I’m told about available land pretty frequently.

Basecamp leases has more leases in Oklahoma so you may not have to move your stuff to far. I don't like that they have a 2 1/2% increase in price each year but to each there own

Born to hunt and fish.
