Those that know me know I pretty much went taco crazy this whole Summer, only slowing down in the last week, week and a half. With these tacos, I would light a fire with peppers. Mostly habaneros but sometimes with whatever salsas they had and some peppers. One place even had pickled serranos. So good btw! All of this with 0 side affects. No stomach issues, no other issues either.

Since Stopping, I’ve had indigestion almost every night and it sucks. Can anyone explain why this is? It somewhat coincides with the weather cooling down some and not drinking as much water too. Could that be a factor?

I guess I’ll have to get back on the taco wagon because I don’t like taking any antacids all the time.

I would try to get your taco levels increased prior to thinking it is water or chew though.

My two general remedies/fixes.

If your have an upset stomach take a drink of milk.

If you have a soar throat in the morning a shot of your preference of liquor will do wonders.

Sounds like a BS excuse to increase your level of taco intake. I'm down with that.

What have you been eating in place of the tacos? For me, spicy does not equal indigestion. However, fatty/greasy food does.

I have fought acid reflux pretty much my entire adult life, and will most likely be on Omeprazole forever. As a PSA, if you are struggling with this condition, please see your doctor and address it. I didn’t at first, and now suffer with Barrett’ Esophagus. That means I have an increased chance of esophageal cancer, and I have to do regular scope checks and have biopsies taken.

Pleading the 5th on the replacement foods. None of it has been healthy.

Don’t eat fried foods every day.
