I love chicken and dumplings. My wife went to school in Monroe and said all they had on the meal plan was biscuits/gravy and chicken and dumplings. As a result, she will not touch either one. It's hard to make it for one (if not impossible) so don't make it as often as I'd like.

Mix in some dark meat for better flavor. I am not a fan of dark meat. Thanks though. dumplins need to be longer. wife just made some but i dont have pics. they a excellent. I have made them big and small and prefer the smaller size. They all taste the same no matter what size. Size doesn`t always matter. The recipe I use makes a little over a gallon. There were no leftovers.

One of my favorites. I use my mothers old recipe. Don't fix it often enough. Now I'll have to. Yours looks really tasty.

We do a bunch of different soups and stews with dumplings added. My wife prefers her farm-style drop dumplings

They look delicious, now guess what I will be making next week after the cool front. I make my dumplings the same way you do, except I have a plastic sheet I put on the counter. Yum, yum.
