Went and walked it last Friday. Didn't see much except for where the pigs have been rooting. Any advice on where the deer are, what they are eating would be helpful . Thanks

Tawakoni wma Pawnee Inlet unit

Did several hog hunts their... Found signs of rubs, few scrapes... Area's can be real thick with under growth...
Look for normal brows, oak trees, persimmons, & such...
Look for trails, tracks, & droppings...
From area's i was in natural ground blind best, not real good for chain, on or climbing stands..
didnt get close ta the lake area...
Theirs a fence line, t cuts back ta the left, little stream, then right side up hill bit, found lots of sign...
In the thicker stuff. VERY tough ta maneuver, found both deer & hog bones...
if remember thars three small sections, Pawnee tis biggest...
Were bouts you located ? If ya do archery, OSBWMA WhiteOakWMA, (cant remember if it's got riffle)
Have taken me canoe, archery deer/hog, Cooper Lake, archery...

Live around Yantis. Never hunted OSB or White Oak but have been looking at them. Haven't public land hunted since the early 90's. Mostly hunted yellow dog by Toledo then.

Used ta hunt privet land close by...
