Semi-Guided Weekend Hunts. $1950 per person, minimum of 2 hunters to book, will have property to yourself. 3000 acres near Sonora tx. Show up friday mid day, leave sunday evening. No food or fancy lodging included but the property is 5 miles from town, or you can camp in the old bunkhouse. I will have a couple of blinds and feeders set up and will show you around the property. This hunt will include 1 buck, either whitetail or axis, and 1 whitetail doe. Additional bucks can be added for $1600. Additional Whitetail does can be added for $175. Lots of good whitetails and decent axis numbers. I just acquired this property so did not season lease it this year. Only offering 2 weekends this year.

Guys- I have only had one group of hunters come out, so only a couple of deer have been harvested off this property. I will do an end of season special at $1750 per hunter. Additional WT bucks can be added to this for discounted rate of $1000.

The whitetail are pretty standard for the Sonora area. Mature deer will be in the 130 range with potential for up to 145 caliber deer.

Seems like most are interested in axis. I will NOT be offering this special during the spring rut. There are very good numbers of axis on the ranch. However, during the winter, most are in velvet. Generally, during the winter we have about 15-20% of the axis grown out or hard horned right now. You will definitely see axis, just not the large numbers of hard horned bucks you would see during may-june

Guys- Now have had only 2 groups out this year. Can still come out anytime between now and the end of whitetail season. Still seeing lots of whitetail and axis.
