Remember Greg giving his two cents worth while I was pulling my boat down to SLP. Afternoon fishing could be better this afternoon. Love an incoming tide. "Tides in Galveston Pleasure Pier, TX for Today & Tomorrow Next high tide is 6:27 pm. Next low tide is 12:58 am. Sunset today is 6:46 PM. Sun rise tomorrow is 7:22 AM."

I went down to Galveston October 1, 2 and 3, which was about 1 and 1/2 weeks after that harsh tropical storm.
There was standing water in all the ditches.
The mosquitoes were unbelievable. It was an attack every time you walked outside!
I'd surmise the mosquitoes might be less harsh now, but let us know.
