is it easy to load for compared to the .300 Win Mag?

Yes. Recoil is similar to what a 300 Win Mag would be with brake or Suppressor and yes it’s easy to load.
Easy button is H1000 with Berger 215gr load and shoot.

If I was building or buying a 30 cal mag, it would be the front runner for sure.

That’s the load I shoot in a 300 win mag! 215 Berger hybrid..
Es 14 sd 6.9 velocity is 2850ish I’m around 76-77 grains with a mag primer
Pic is 5 shot group at 100, from a machine rest and a bald eagle bag. Lots of recoil but sure has a lot of potential to be a real long range hammer!

I've got a 300wm, but I've shot 3 or 4 300 PRCs and will be buying one as my next rifle. It'll be strictly a target gun, because for some reason I feel the need to waste money hitting things at 2000 meters, and 212 or 225 grains is the way I want to go. Recoil is comparable, slightly more (think jumping from a 178 to a 200 in 300wm), But I'll throw an Area 419 brakew on it and it'll be perfectly manageable.

I've changed my mind. I'd go 300 win mag since you can find brass.

About the only difference is the 9 twist barrel otherwise the winmag has that belt, the prc doesn’t, cases capacity is pretty much the same. The winmag can be loaded to shoot exceptionally well.. there isn’t any real match quality brass out there yet for the prc..

Hornady brass is garbage, compared to Norma, lapua, Peterson.

I know Lapua hasn’t made 300 win mag brass in several years, but it was awesome brass.

It’s truly 6/ half dozen.. you could do a 9 twist 300 win mag, throated for 220-240 bullets..

I have Atlas 300 PRC brass and it’s equal if not better than Lapua IMO. It certainly comes packaged better!
Just loaded a batch to carry to New Mexico just in case I need it as back up....
