You could have a ham sandwich, if you had some ham. You could have a ham and cheese sandwich if you had some cheese. You could have a great sandwich if you added pickles.

What if you don’t have bread?

For people that cannot afford a burrito or bread, they use a flour tortilla, add a little mustard, a little mayo, a little lettuce, 2 slices of tomatoes, lunch meat of your choice, roll it up, and you have a "burrwich". Serve with chips and or Fritos on the side.

My recipe for ice box pickles is similar to the recipe on the box of Morton-Canning-Pickling salt. I use fresh dill from my garden, but that is not what makes them precious to me. I skip the hot bath and have to refrigerate the pickles which limits my jars. You can buy similar pickles in the refrigerated section of stores. They are similar to mine except in one respect. My momma taught me to make them. Nothing will ever replace my momma's love.
