 Car nearly cut in two by utility pole

According to a witness who was working on the water plane next to the scene. The vehicle was northbound on Sorters when it came around the curve on the wet road. The vehicle went to the ditch, hit the end of a driveway, and launched, almost hitting the first set of lines some 16-feet off the ground. The left wheel from the vehicle was found in the brush close to 100-feet away. Saddle Creek Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.

I watched a Tesla split in half on a telephone pole on Beltline Rd. Passengers were scattered about, at least two in multiple pieces.
The stories I've heard from a friend who's a FD Battalion Chief sends shivers up my spine and I've seen some pretty crazy sht in my life. Now, I'm the old fart in the slow lane.

My best friend died when he hit a tree about half the thickness of that pole and wrapped the whole car around it. Yes... speed kills, and trees are strong.

I saw a VW Bug cut in to 3 pieces by a locomotive on Campbell Rd in Richardson. We were at Custer and Campbell when it happened. We heard the impact. When we got home we walked back to look at the wreckage.

Houses popping up everywhere around us... Subdivisions, They just bulldozed about 300 acres of Trees about 8 miles to the north of here for a subdivsion.

I’ve seen a few motorcyclist get cut in half by the guy wire on electric poles. One guys upper torso minus the head went about 80 yards past the lower torso, the head in the helmet bounced into a backyard.
