Love it. Kids now a days are crushed if they don't have something electronic in their hands.

No joke, my daughter talked back to me so I grab her iPad out of her hand and slamed it over my knee, bent it in half and tossed it on the floor. She cried over it like it was a dead kitten for 20min. Then my dumb arse had to go to best buy

Funny thing about getting older:
Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to
see through people's BS gets much better.

Yes sir, I am and I will. He’s going through enough, as it is, without dealing with this grouch.

Exactly what was done well?
Responding out of anger?
Destruction of an item “grabbed” from her?
Teaching violence in response to issues, rather than appropriate reaction?
Teaching a daughter/lady/female that men sometimes strike out? That men can physically control you and your possessions?

Yes. You showed her alright. I just don’t believe it was a “good” response.

You’re right I should of been like you and sat her down and told her how she was going to go to hell because she is Catholic and not Evangelical, .. Should I also Burned a cross in her front yard like you?

Taking an iPad from a 7 year that's yelling back at her mom because she just got grounded from it and won't give it to her mom is a zero tolerance policy, especially when I have to get involved.

Any thing else you want to say you can comment in person,

When my daughter was young I told her if she didn't get her room cleaned up I would come in with a shovel and trash bag and pick up everything left on the floor myself. She called my bluff so I literally used a shovel to pick up every toy and stuffed animal on her floor and dumped them in a trash bag. I let her mourn for a month and gave them back after she kept her room clean for that time period, but she learned that I would follow through on my threats, no matter how ridiculous they sounded.

I’ve wanted to do the same thing Bobo, a million times. I’m dang impressed with the case we have currently. It’s amazing the level of resilience they build into them now. roflmao

Your reply Is irrelevant, but what else can you do? What real options do you have? Go with angry goofiness! You certainly can not refute any word I spoke.

Yes. I agree it should be a zero tolerance issue. In my opinion, you blew the opportunity. The 7 year old pushed the buttons and controlled the situation. A 7 year old twisted you off. A 7 year old made you confess to being a “dumb arse” on a public forum.

I can comment in any fashion I wish. You can always use the “coward/ignore” button. That’s probably your best option. That way you and the “knee pad club” can just slap each other on the back and be lords of the vale. Only reading and seeing those who agree with “my lord.”
