Two places to vote where I live. The line at the walk in is still out the door and down the street. The drive thru is still three blocks long at 1530 when I get off. I'll try again next week...
Wife and I got Er done today. Courthouse location opened at 1:00, we got there at 12:40. We were #5 & 6 in line. Interesting, no way to vote straight party ticket.

Seems to me if straight ticket voting was allowed it might make lines go a bit quicker, less time in the booth, rather than selecting each candidate... Wonder why they took that away?

They took away the straight ticket vote just this year. I remember some ruckus during the 2016 election where folks pulled a straight R ballot and didn’t check through it. Come to find out, some were found the have voted D on the lower races. This way, you gotta look at every race and vote deliberately.
Well I just got back from voting for the Man Riding The Big Red Wave, Sorry you wasted a stamp.
Poles are open until 6:00PM today not a long line I got to keep the penile and the pen. Funny how people you made eye contact with most all had this head nod you could tell the ones that voted Dem-O-Rat they had their heads down no eye contact and in a hurry.

Yuup the pen was from a box of new pens to sign your name the Pencil was from a new box of pencils for rotating the knob and pressing the buttons on the voting machine....
Done deal. Ironically the last election was the 1st time I voted straight ticket and now it has been done away with. Also, for those of you new to LTC even though your weapon might be allowed in the building it is not allowed inside the polling location. Had to make a quick trip back to the pickup, still in and out in 20 minutes.
