I hope to find a mature buck or two but don't have to kill one as I am more into the chase than the catch. I just want to go hunt for arrow heads down there some day. Beautiful scenery. Stop by Pandale and spend some time in the little store, there. The couple that owns it are wonderful people to talk to. They make a mean burger, and the photos they have plastered on the walls are fantastic. I’m fairly certain the merchandise on the shelves is bought at the nearest Wal-Mart and marked up, and that’s fine by me. I’d support just about anything they have to do to survive out there.

This ranch is above Pandale. Nice float trip from here to Pandale, I think it's about 26 miles. I've heard that this is "no country for old men" so we will find out...
