First meatloaf I ever smoked. It turned out pretty good. 3 hours on the Recteq 590 and let it sit for about 20 minutes. I basted it with bbq sauce for the last 30 minutes. I made 2 small loafs instead of one big one to reduce cooking time. Will do again for sure.

Looks legit and bet it is.
I smoked one meatloaf and the boss said not to put another meatloaf in the oven. Have done 3 since that first one.

Love me some smoked meatloaf.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I do love meat loaf, but must admit that I have never had a smoked one. Sounds good tho, so will have to try it.

I smoke mine at 240* until reaching an internal temp of 165*. Love me some smoked meatloaf, and the OP's looks great.

That looks really good. That's the only way I cook mine now. Cook time varies if I don't have to hurry 275 gets me there in a couple of hours. If I don't have much time, I'll cook at 350 for about an hour. Cooking time will vary according to the size of the meatloaf and smoker temp. Internal temp should be 160. I use 1 lb 90/10 ground sirloin, chopped onion, chopped red bell pepper, minced garlic 2 eggs and one package of Ritz crackers. I use Lawry's seasoned salt and coarse pepper. Top it with ketchup or BBQ sauce.

Looks great. Recipe and cooking temps/time please. Sorry to say that I measured nothing, but here is a general description. 2 lbs. ground chuck, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, A-1 sauce, brown sugar,( green and yellow bell peppers, onion and chopped garlic sauteed before adding to mix), seasoned bread crumbs, 2 eggs, salt, pepper. Cooked @ 180° for 1.5 hours and 275° till an internal of165°. Between 2.5 and 3 hours total cooking time. I added a glaze for the last 30 minutes of the cook. It consisted of Head Country Apple/Habanero BBQ sauce, catsup, little bit of apple cider vinegar, little water and honey.

Try making a meatloaf using a sausage recipe using ground pork and beef mix, then smoking it. If you want the sausage shape, you can wrap it in cheesecloth. Double the cheesecloth, wrap it and tie it with cotton string.

Our cafeteria at work used to serve the best. Heavy ketchup to glaze, but did on open face bread and a hearty brown gravy. Wow!!
