OMG, I am stuffed. Thanks to everyone on the input about the Louisiana Fry, in the other thread. I decided to use it on some big Vidalia onions I had and make rings. Can't do that without cooking some fresh, out of the field spuds, and some burgers!! It was outstanding!!! The wife said I shorted her on fries.

Mixed the fry batter up thick, and added a little more powder to a ziplock bag, with a tiny bit of flour. Double dredged, and cooked at 350 for about 3 minutes, after the French fries. Light, crisp, and fluffy. Just enough heat to notice. I give it two thumbs up!!

Toasted buns, burgers with aged sharp white cheddar, ran out of bacon so put some carved ham on the meat. Lettuce, tomato, and jalapeños toped the whole mess off. Capt. Morgan out of the IV jug tasted pretty darn good tonight.

For all you laughing at my liquor bottle, there's a reason. They are the best thing ever for storing any liquid!!

The wife worked in the dental, oral surgery, or eye surgery fields all her career. They use these things all the time, and then pitch them. They are sterile, cheap, and indestructible. They don't take on any odors or tastes, and can keep fluids indefinitely. They can be frozen without breaking, have double seals with a gasket, and make great ice jugs. Being square they fit into the RV cabinets, or camping boxes with no wasted space, and I throw them into the backpack for hunting, knowing they'll never leak on my gear. Put them in the UTV or snowmobile, and forget about them.

If you don't have dozen of extras filling your storage cabinets (like we do), you can go buy an entire case of sterile water in 250, 500, 1000, or 1500 ml sizes for around $25, at your local medical mart. Those stupid Nalgene water bottles are $10 a piece, and seem to crack all the time for me!!! No brainer for us.
