Mags and Ammo, mags are plentiful right now. Ammo not so much.

I don't really seeing them actually banning guns, maybe another AWB, but not a full on ban. I do think they'll go after some sort of ammo tax to render ammo almost unobtainable, however I think they will underestimate how much people are willing to pay for ammo. Just take a look now people are paying ridiculous amounts of money for 223 and 9mm so I don't think it'll work. As for mags I'm sure they'll go after those as well, I mean who needs more than 3 shots to kill a deer.

I agree with K-ro

Everyone should have enough ammo to last through the End of Days.

load all magazines now, don't wait. Extra FULL mags are a must.

If you don't already have an AR-15 or clone, GET ONE NOW. You may not like the AR platform, But EVERYONE should have at least 1.

Practice shooting, you can accomplish a lot with 1 box of 50 if you make a training plan.

I'd like to hear exactly how they would implement a buy back. Which is a confiscation, they just pay you for what you are forced to give up. Those that would be for it certainly wouldn't be concerned about being fair about what they would pay a gun owner to give up a high end AR or platform. I'm one person, and it would be about $8,000.00. I don't see Kamala Toe Harris doing the math on the fair value of everything that's out there. God be with us.

Except they left bump stock owners high and dry. One day legal, next day ATF says nope. No grandfather clause and no compensation. Would be interesting to see how it pans out if they tried that with MSR’s or standard cap mags.

According to Wikipedia:

"Estimates vary as to how many of the rifles are owned in the United States. The National Shooting Sports Foundation has estimated that approximately 5 million to 10 million AR-15 style rifles exist in the U.S. within the broader total of the 300 million firearms owned by Americans.

Okay, my personal opinion is there are just as many or more lowers stashed around too. Not counting 80%'ers. Now just how would you go about gathering up 7.5 million AR's? Even if you could get away with it, how much $$$ & how long would that take? Impossible. Buy-back? AR's vary in cost from $350 to $10,000+ ; another impossible joke! Very few members of law enforcement or military would participate in a confiscation program.

The attack on gun ownership will be via bureaucracy, taxation, & ammo & component restrictions. There would be so much hassle in buying anything that they would just kill off the industry.

FWIW, JIMHO everyone should at least be prepared to reload every firearm they own. Buy components & stock up on .22LR's

I don't see this nation surviving a total democrat lead congress and executive branch. I think the issue of state vs federal rights would cause a calamity.

They can have AOC, we'll have ACB on the Supreme Court. The minority can sue, to the Supreme Court. (If we loose two branches)

They typically create a few, “high profile” cases and make an example out of those folks to get the others to comply.

It’s a self fulfilling mission. Felons can’t own firearms. So, they make you a felon for owning a particular firearm and presto, no more guns for you. Take all the, “law abiding” gun owners and make a law they won’t abide by and there you go.

Disgusting to say the least. Really hoping with ACB on the bench we will at least have a chance in the Supreme Court.
