They are reasonable now. I paid $6 per bag in Lampasas last weekend. I am anticipating they go higher after the Derecho in Iowa.

Buying corn is probably the least expensive part of hunting.

I bet Buccee's will have the cheapest corn through out the season.

Corn is cheaper than treated deck boards for sure.

Thanks, Billy

was that at Hoffphauir Ranch & Supply out on 281 north side??? I usually go to Brown Feed at the SE corner of the county courthouse, they are usually considerably cheapest place anywhere around central TX. Last I bought there was $5.45 about a month ago.

Gonna stock up on corn and protein and horde it

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Long range weather report says winter & spring is going to be warmer and drier than normal so corn prices may very well be higher next year.

Corn so cheap right now. I can recall when Klappenbach and myself bought 40,000 pounds and then paid to store and bag it. I think we paid something like $10 a bushel weight fearing it would go higher. It dropped precipitously from there, but we had plenty of corn.
