Wife and I decided to try out this little cafe in Dawson. We’re at Liberty Hill COE Park nearby. The jolly little lady owner highly recommended her personally cooked onion rings, and she was right. The Bacon Cheeseburger was excellent also. And the breakfast menu looks like a winner, being similar to the Waffle House menu.

So, if you find yourself in or near Dawson (East of Hubbard 6 miles and West of Corsicana by about 30 miles) give it a try.

How good were the onion rings you might ask. Well, we got fries with the burger combo, but I also got a small order of the Onion rings, which was 6 of them, just to try them out. I had three of them and the wife had 2. The other one was just sitting there for a bit, but the wife grabbed it and said “I saw you had your eye on that last one, but no way you were getting it”. Well, darn...

We will have to try it.

That spot has changed hands several times over the last couple of years.

You maybe surprised but the Tiger Tote in the Exxon gas station makes a good Burger.
