Taking a break from the ACB hearings on TV. Going to stand in the kitchen and fix breakfast, while drinking coffee. Cheddar cheese scrambled, bacon breakfast potatoes w/ more cheese, and some real stove cooked grits. The wife is a north-western girl and wouldn't eat grits if she was starving, and there wasn't a thing left in the house! She always likes an extra egg tho. smile Enjoy!

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

If they hate Grits, it is probably because they left out the salt, pepper, butter, milk and ground hominy.

Had a good friend here that lived in Idaho his entire life. Got drafted, went in the army, and they sent him to Ft Bragg. Said he was so happy when he went to chow that they had cream of wheat for breakfast!!! Took his first bite of grits, and claimed he was scarred for life. Some people got no taste. smile

My dad was in the Army and we lived on base in FT Bragg, NC 1962-1964.

Use to live with a gal named Shirley who made the best cheese grits with chives, dayum they were good.
