Has anybody put a light bar on their Polaris mid-size Ranger? If so, what size light bar and what type of brackets did you use. I know Amazon has so many to pick from. Seems like a 30" light bar would do fine.

Just get a curved one with the spot/flood combo. I had a straight spot on ours originally and it worked fine but I wanted more of a broad beam and after swapping over to the curved spot/flood combo I like it a lot better. It gives better overall visibility.

It depends on your mounts, to you have a round cage or that polaris proprietary one?

It's not a round cage, it's that odd shaped one.

I bought mine from rough country, 20” light bar and mounted it on the front bar of my Polaris, it puts out something like 8k plus lunes, it definitely lites the night up.

BIL has a 30" Rough Country on his and it works pretty good. I bought three 6" Rigid light bars to go along with the other Rigid lights for my electric buggy, but haven't put them on yet.

I have a 13" and a 30" on my 2014 Ranger 800 XP. The only problem I have seen is when the cooling fan comes on and my 30" bar is on my voltage drops to 11.6 -11.7 volts. This could cause a starting problem is you had to run a long distance at this voltage. Other than that wire it up and turn it on.

I've started using just the cheap amazon light bars. No need to spend $800 on Rigid or OnX bars when you can replace the cheap ones for $50 or so. I have the Mictuning 50" curved bar on my Defender and it hasn't missed a beat. I got mine over a year ago and it was around $60 back then. I see it's gone up, unfortunately.

None. Have one on my truck for 5+ years and 70k miles. Have them on my BadBoy Buggy for 3 years also. Just put more on my Pioneer....
