I was at a public range last weekend and found this slug when I went out to change targets. Do any of you know what company makes this rifled slug? BTW, the wad is securely attached to the slug itself. Thanks!

I had a buddy when we were kids that shot a 410. He couldn’t hit a flying dove or quail to save his life. Our dads took us deer hunting and he was shooting his 410 with slugs. We were in the back of the truck and he shot a doe in the neck with it and it almost took her head entirely off at 20 yards.

Thanks, guys. The base on the one I found is quite different from these Brenneke's; the projectile is quite similar, but as I look at the base, instead of rod and disk, it's kinda fancy and I can compress it a bit. I'll keep looking to see if I can find a closer match.

ATI. (American tactical imports) sells 410 slugs with that wad. Not sure if you can still find them, the old google might be of use.

Did some more looking on the 'net and came up with some pics that were very close, if not identical; unfortunately, there's no reference from the pics back to the ammo manufacturer!

I do believe that the one I found was from a "Law Enforcement SLUG" by a company named "NSI" (Nobel Sport Italia. I was able to get a good enough picture of a box of their ammo to pretty well confirm this. One thing I do know, is that any of the slugs that I've used in my Judge to execute hogs in traps have resulted in instant dirt naps for them.

Similar to the Gualandi, but hard to be certain.
