Got a chance last weekend to shoot my friend's Barrett 50 BMG. Pretty impressive impacts and surprisingly mild recoil. We were shooting at our "sight in" range which only goes out to 600 yards, so it wasn't exactly stretching that round's capability. He's setting up a 2000 yard range at his deer lease in west Texas and that should make for some more interesting shooting.

That's my 7 mag, which isn't a small rifle, next to the Barrett.

They do have a very large BANG! The best place when shooting it is to be behind the rifle on that one. up

50s are fun and good at making big rocks into little rocks among other things.

That was a table out of a fast food place. Took the seats off of one side and built the top. It's also on wheels and has a trailer hitch to pull it around.

My buddy has that same Barrett 50 cal and it is fun to shoot. He took it up to Garland shooting range once when everyone was sighting in their rifles for deer season and let’em rip. It made everyone jump and turn around!

Love to take mine out as well. People will pay to shoot it. $10/per round and they walk away with a smile on their face.

Yup, haven't let someone shoot it that didn't have a smile after shooting.
