Got a chance last weekend to shoot my friend's Barrett 50 BMG. Pretty impressive impacts and surprisingly mild recoil. We were shooting at our "sight in" range which only goes out to 600 yards, so it wasn't exactly stretching that round's capability. He's setting up a 2000 yard range at his deer lease in west Texas and that should make for some more interesting shooting. They do have a very large BANG! The best place when shooting it is to be behind the rifle on that one.

The seats on that shooting bench! I like that. That was a table out of a fast food place. Took the seats off of one side and built the top. It's also on wheels and has a trailer hitch to pull it around.
