I won an e-postcard hunt on the Playa Lakes WMA at Dimmitt Playa Unit and am wondering has anyone done this hunt? I plan on calling the WMA HQ a few weeks before to hear about conditions but wanted to hear from those who are familiar. So far I plan on taking some mallard decoys and a small blind. Thanks!

Lucky you, that is a great draw. Did you only get selected for waterfowl or pheasant/waterfowl? I did it a few years ago and had a good time. As long as they have water and you aren't frozen over you should have a great hunt.

I was selected for both waterfowl and pheasant. Did you have any luck with pheasant? I don't have dogs but will definitely bring gear to put in some miles of walking if there is a chance at flushing up some birds.
