Magnus Stingers 100g 4 blade. Still have some 2 blade ones I use also. Some of the heads have taken several deer and hogs. A quick hit on the stone and they are ready to go again.

I run a Magnus Stinger 150 gr when I'm hunting in TX and switch to a Rage Hypodermic 125gr when I'm in AZ.

This will be my first year bow hunting. I'm going the heavy arrow route and will be shooting 200gr Grizzly Stick Maasai single bevel broadheads, total arrow weight at 571 grains. We'll see how things go That's a beast of an arrow!!! I'd really like to see that one zip through a big pig. It's funny, I was running brass inserts with my 150gr Stingers just to get my FOC up and they ripped a big Blackbuck like paper. Good luck this year, I'd like to know how you do and if you keep your same setup post-season.

I use the NAP DK4 100 grain. Flys like a dart and makes huge holes. Watched my BIL shoot a fallow with it the other week. It ran 40-50 yards gushing blood upon impact. It’s a cross between mechanical and fixed. Has spitfire blender blades and the “fixed” blade swivels.

Don't look at it as 7/8 as a traditional broadhead. I used one last year, and the results were devastating. Look at coring effect and the diameter of each blade.

I've used Rocky Mountain Warheads, NAP Spitfires, Toxic, and some Blackout Expandables. All work. Accuracy is key. Always. None of mine have gone over 50 yards.

I've been using rocket sidewinders and Wasp Jackhammers.
This year gonna try the Rage Trypan and 3 Blade Chisel tip. I still like the Wasp Jackhammers though.
update.....the 3 Blade Rage leaves a big freaking hole!

I ended up shooting both my deer this year with a fixed NAP Hellrazor. Neither one left a drop of blood hardly. Shot a bunch of pigs this year so it just seemed easier to use the fixed. Probably go back to mechanicals on the deer next year.

Thanks,

I've always been a Rage fan but don't use them as often anymore. I really liked the G5 Havoc's but I heard they quit making them. I still have a cpl that are new. I picked up a pack of the grim Reaper Micro Hades 4 blade this year. Watch Em Drop. Im also fan of Slick Tricks.
I want to try the new Grim Reaper Micro Hybrid but just haven't bought any yet.
Im the guy who usually has a 6 arrow quiver and I will have 5-6 different broadheads in it!
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

I don't bow hunt much anymore but when I do I still use the Rothar Snuffers that I bought many years ago. Glad I bought quite a few back then.

I've been using the original Rage Hypodermics (100 grain). Great on deer, elk, and javelina. Worked great even when I made a marginal shot on a fox and a coyote. Will switch to Rage Hypodermic NC when I run out of the original Hypodermics.
