They vanished for about 3 years but are back in full force now. Gonna put out more corn and put my chair back in the stand today.
Gonna be BANG BANG tomorrow evening. I think I'll take my Ruger .480 pistol.

I'm surprised how many big boars there are.

Yep, I'm over run with them again in Stephens Co. 2 different sounds over of 30-40 in each along with 3 different really big boars. I know they are keeping deer away so while I so want to be bow hunting even though hot, I will take thermal to do some thinning and scare em away for a few days

I had some feeders like that and they would break that motor right off the bottom or kick one leg over and knock the whole works down. I gave up and bought expensive feeders they have not been able to break so far. Nasty things need to die!

Ours disappeared except for a few boars at night for about a month and now in the last three weeks we are over run by hogs of every size!

I also pour corn on the ground and so far they leave the feeder alone. My problem a few years back were cows. They would knock them over and stomp everything. Crushed a new $50.00 feeder light had only been up a few days. Damm cows! mad

They come in waves on my place as well. Didn't see any for several years, then started seeing a bit of sign and sporadically a couple on cameras, so I started trapping again last Winter. Trapped 4 boars this year - all in the 200 lb range - then nothing for a couple of months. That all changed about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and now we are covered and back to trapping/hunting.
