My son is ready to hunt and I would like to have the ability to see his scope view live on my phone as he is setting up to shoot and to watch his follow through.
I know ATN has this but I am trying to avoid them.
Under $1,000

Sightmark Wraith is the one to look at. There is a 2x base mag, a 4x and the new 4K that hasn't been released yet is 3x if I recall. If he's hunting out of stands and over feeders then the 4x would be good. If he's stalking pigs and getting pretty close in then the 2x. The 2 and 4x are $500 bucks. They're really solid scopes for the money.

Myron, you kill me.lol Our brains think alike. I typed up basically the same thing you did and was about to his send and then I realized he was asking for a scope with a scope with a streaming app, which the Wraith HD doesn't have. As of now, there isn't one available for the Wraith 4K either but there might be in the future since there is wifi in the scope.
I just found it funny that you and I were thinking the same thing but it doesn't fit what he needs for streaming.

Sightmark Photon RT has a live streaming APP. The scope is great for nightvision but if you want to use it during the day, not so much.

Livestreaming no. ATN is it I suppose in this case.

Sightmark Photon RT has streaming and it works well. As someone else posted above, for daytime use if inside a blnid or dark area works good. But if there is any sun glare on the scope eye piece you will have to use the rubber eye cup and I personally do not care for it so do not use the scope for driving around. With a better IR light you will be very surprised how clear the night video / streaming is. I believe scope is less than $500.

There are some scope cameras out there also, but I don’t know which if any have live-streaming ability.

You can do this with a tactacam 5.0 with fts I believe. I know it has wifi and I'm pretty sure you can live stream it to your phone

My product "Digital Crosshairs 1000" does all that you ask plus some and your son will enjoy the video game like way of targeting using it. With the base unit at just $500, you can watch him target on the screen. With other models you can record, transmit to an Android phone, and even get a wireless through the scope Google Glasses like targeting setup similar to the militaries monocular weapon scope targeting ( not saying it's as powerful). Did I say 200+ yards of digital night vision on a standard rifle scope with the included 5 watt focusable IR build on the Oslon Black emitter? BTW- Don't expect retailers to recommend it to you because it is only sold by the manufacturer. See our Google business page for customer reviews at https://bit.ly/DC1000ReviewsLots of customer reviews also on our "digitalcrosshairs" Facebook page. www.digitalcrosshairs.net or call 404-590-6513
