Went out to the lease this weekend for the season opener for MLD rifle hunting. I along with the other guys in camp put 11 hogs in their tracks, and a few others that ran off. Saturday morning I dropped 1, then Saturday evenings hunt, I put 4 down from the same stand within a 2.5 hour time period. One new hunter did shoot a button head thinking it was a doe at "250 yards"....it happens

The wife decided she wanted to bring the boys and tent camp Saturday night, even though dad and I have a travel trailer out there. They didn't hunt with me this trip, but they sure wanted to see all the dead hogs Saturday evening.

Awesome

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

yep, lots of pork hit the ground over the weekend. I had 3 lined up but only one dropped, the others left blood trails off into the yaupon that I wasn't gonna go crawling thru to find them.
