In OK no one wears masks. This weekend in west texas, no one wearing a mask either. At at restaurant Saturday night, it was packed, like 45 minute wait. The waiting room was packed, shoulder to shoulder. I waited out side, which I would have done even no covid. I wear a mask if required or I see the store clerk wearing one, otherwise I don't. But if I see clerk in a store not wearing mask, I don't wear one either.

I do wonder though if the benefit of wearing a mask is off set by people touching the mask then putting it on their face, which everyone does.

We had lunch at a marina on Joe Pool Lake yesterday to take a lunch break after hunting dove that morning and the place was packed with no masks. We had a group of folks that were sitting at the table next to us that ended up scooting over to our table to chat and no one was the least bit concerned. Aside from covid being a topic of discussion you'd have thought there was no "pandemic".

I think everyone has realized this pandemic is a sham to screw with the current administration and election process.

It will be amazing when they realize just how big the swamp is. Folks intire lives were encapsulated by it but its been in place for so long they could not see it.

Those are the kind of facts which keep alot of folks from playing along with the mask charade.

My wife's younger cousin who was 30 passed away from it. At the same time, I've seen 80 year olds recover. There is no rhyme or reason, we're on God's time. All that said, we all have different experiences

Sorry for your loss. What other issues did the 30 year old have?

None other than CTE

As a common idjut, I don’t see the correlation between the two. That’s baffling

Call it a big "other" but heart failure doesn't happen because you got hid in the head too many times in the minor leagues. Guess you would rule this a CTE death and not a COVID, right?

ETA that was to the original quote, not Bullfrogs

Sorry, wasn't trying to say the CTE was the cause of death, just that it's not a minor thing.

Blood type is a component of severity. A and B blood types are the ones that seem to croak more often.

Ding ding Bill.

People don't realize how contaminated those things are when they reuse them. Mask are made to go into and come out of a contaminated room/area. Then you shed that environment when you come out ie throw the mask, gloves,
gowns away into biohazard containers. Next time you reenter that environment you use all new PPE......

They way mask are being used are nothing more then a placebo.
