A Wolfe City police officer, who officials say shot and killed a 31-year-old Black man over the weekend, has been arrested. The Texas Rangers, who are investigating the incident, said the officer's actions were not "objectionably reasonable."

Shaun Lucas faces a murder charge. He was booked into the Hunt County jail Monday and transferred to another county. Lucas is being held in lieu of $1 million bond, according to jail records.

That is not shocking. He [censored] up and probably understands that by now.

That’s sad for everyone involved, a lot of lives messed up over what sounds to be a mistake made on the officers part. He’s innocent until proven guilty though so time will tell. I pray for them both,,
I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would want to be a cop now, they are all put pretty much in a no win situation whatever they do. Screw up and don’t shoot and you die, screw up and shoot to quick and you go to jail for life. God bless the good ones, I sures hell wouldn’t do it now.

Funny, try to find the race of a killer or robber or rapist in an article if they are black. You know the race of the cop by the 2nd word of the article.

Read this excerpt and explain it to me.

I think what they're saying is he possibly pulled away without making any threatening gestures toward the officer.

Word is Price walked toward the officer upon his arrival, hands up, telling the officer he stopped the fight and was helping the woman. After that, who knows.

I read another articular where the Dad showed up, and talked to the cop that shot him, and ask why did you shoot my son, and the cop said I will tell you later. I sure would like to get the full story,.

Arrested for murder, given a $1 million dollar bond and was out the next morning. $100K is a lot of money to come up with overnight for bail.

Also, thats a big ol boy. He is new to the force, Im guessing the WCPD does not have a physical fitness test or a weight limit? He looks like he is pushing 350 lbs. Not saying that as a derogatory statement, just suprised.

To have her attorney there may be some money in his family. As far as the bond, is it up to the bondsman to accept whatever they wish as payment or security? I've heard of property being pledged.
