A lot of dealers will still discount them, but they no longer let them advertise anything other than MAP. If you're buying online, try Eurooptic.com and chat with the person, they offered me a discount on one. KYGUNCO.com is another option, possibly Grab a gun. My LGS will discount for me if I'm ordering.

One thing I've noticed is that Tikka has discovered their following and prices are jumping like crazy. Cabela's has a new special Lite model for $1199.99. It's a Lite T3 with a fluted bolt, barrel, cerakote, standard stock that's been camo'd, and a brake. Two-three years ago such a beast was maybe $899.

I've bought a few at Grabagun. The real savings is picking it up at their storefront in Coppell. You pay no shipping or FFL xfer. Near DFW AIrport.

Holy goodness - I paid less than $899 for my 6.5CM CTR a few years ago...

I just bought a CTR in 223 and it was $998 on Europtic. Those new special lite models are expensive for adding cerakote. They are $1199 on Europtic as well. Higher than the CTR.

Check Whittaker Guns. They used to be the best deal anywhere. Not sure anymore.

It's an easy process, place order, you get an email about five days later telling you to come pick it up. I've been 100% satisfied with Tikka. I have two, several friends and family have them. They all are fantastic shooters. We know what they'll do, all year long we're hunting with them and killing everything right there. It seems like a waste of time but we do it anyway, verify everything on the range this time of the year to get ready for deer season and there it is, 1/2" group. I have a CTR and a T3x.

IMHO, I don't believe there is a better off the shelf rifle on the market than Tikka's. I have not shot every brand of rifle on the market and probably not going to cause I don't think they can beat the Tikka. Daniel

Which Tikka are you looking for specifically? I bought my T3X 6.5CM for $470 off of a website called Locked and Loaded. before all the craziness started. If you know what you are looking for exactly you can run it through wikiarms.com and it will give you a list of websites and their prices.

Bass Pro has the T3X super light on sale. I have one in 6.5 Creedmoor and I like it. I also have one CTR and 3 other T3s.

God bless John Wayne!
