Howdy I’m back at it today. I had to leave early yesterday. My son begged me to take him to a football game in town so I had to go. I did end up seeing a whole bachelor group of bucks. None where tempting.
Today I’m staying in:)
Different stand. This one is East of Wimberley about 5 miles. I usually see pigs here but deer bed here on a north wind quite often. Fingers crossed and prayers sent.

There’s a roadrunner down there.
Man the wind is a faint North East. So faint that the skeeters are already feeding in this cedar thicket. Those butterflies yesterday were much nicer. There were some huge huge hog tracks coming here on my way in.

I’m in here a slice of heaven.. I’m still mad at the cowboys for losing to the freaking Browns👎

Yup I’m not really picky. It’s not like I’m going to kill a monster here. Just no young decent horned bucks basically. A big spike would be a blessing. I hear something moving around. Might be young deer chasing each other.

Oh man a big sow went by behind me in the cedar. I don’t think she winded me yet. She didn’t seem alarmed. Couldn’t get a picture in the thick mess. I hope she circles in. She’s huge. I can’t miss

Busted! She staged back there downwind of me for an hour at least but she finally caught me. I’m just hanging out now.. just enjoying the last light. Who knows..
