this is a total shot in the dark, for the past couple of years i have been looking for a coon hunting club in or near rusk, tx. No i am not joining but would like to tag along maybe on a hunt or two. Also although very specific was on a road that my grandmother took me down and was showing all the place she grew up back in the 30's and 40's. i can describe in detail about the road and everything else i just cant remember where it was at was thinking about taking my niece and nephew down one day and drive around

It's been so many years, I can't even remember where the coon hunting club I was a member of was located or even the name of it. You might see if you can get a sample copy of Full Cry magazine. If the club still exists it would be mentioned in the regional section or you would at least be able to find someone with another club in that part of the state to contact that would know or remember something about it. https://www.huntinghoundsmen.com/
Good luck in the search.

I'm in the same boat- I probably will never get dogs, etc.- pretty big investment in time and money but it would be a lot of fun just to tag along on a hunt.

I have about 6-10 raccoons at my deer feeder every day --------- after deer season just as some deer hunter if you can shoot coons at his deer feeder. They would probably be glad to have you.
