Spec’s let me in without a mask this evening. It has to be true. They would almost tackle you at the door a few weeks ago. Didn’t have what I wanted though. I was able to get Knob 120 and Noah’s Mill.

Recently I've gone with no mask several times in stores and had no issues and a number of times in restaurants.

It's all about the risk-reward ratio.

We are not seeing a lot of insurmountable problems with Covid down here. By the numbers, around 99% of our total county population does not have it. To date, we have lost 1 person for every 5,000 people in our county.

Low cost testing has become readily available, so of course, there will be more cases found. The fact that someone tests as "Covid positive" does not indicate viral loading or symptom levels.

Is this virus nasty and potentially deadly for some? Yes, but see my first sentence above.

Henderson County Covid by City

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

None of the people I know, or know of, who have tested positive for Covid-19 have needed so much as a prescription to get over it. This includes: my youngest son (32); a co-worker (50s); my Cardiolgist's sister and her husband (50s), my daughter-in-law's parents (60s), another co-workers youngest daughter (20). My son's wife and kids did not get it, the co-worker's wife did not get it, the other co-workers daughter - her boyfriend did not get it.

Those are the kind of facts which keep alot of folks from playing along with the mask charade.

No mask for me. If asked I say I have a medical condition, end of subject.

Do as I do. If they ask "what medical condition?", I reply, "A functioning brain."

Spent the weekend in Onalaska and Livingston and maybe 70% of people not wearing a mask. Came back to the city and everyone has one on. Sheep.

If they got a sign on the door asking people to wear it, I wear it. But I make my business fast and get out of there.
I think the whole thing is symbolic and useless, but they are private businesses.

I'm glad I'm not in a job that makes me wear one, that would suck.

My wife's younger cousin who was 30 passed away from it. At the same time, I've seen 80 year olds recover. There is no rhyme or reason, we're on God's time. All that said, we all have different experiences

Sorry for your loss. What other issues did the 30 year old have?

The government says we are supposed to have a vaccine in the next 3-4 weeks, if you can believe that.

There's several adamant mask wearers on here. Wonder how long they will stick to their guns about this horrible, awful, no good, super deadly virus and masks being a must.

You can wear a mask if it makes you feel better. Don't force it on me.
