I have never been impressed by any other Texas bourbons that are cask strength. They are young and drink hot!

Obviously you haven’t had IronRoot Harbinger or Kiepersol Jimmys

I believe it was around $100.

It is good stuff, but it’s gotten almost impossible to find. I have a couple distributor friends that can sometimes get me allocated bottles.

I wasn't aware that Jimmy's made a cask strength bourbon. I will be on the lookout for it. I have had their 90 proof version and thought it was just okay.

While I will say that the Harbinger is better than most Texas bourbons, I still don't love it. Been to the Ironroot distillery and met both of the Likarish brothers at tastings in the last couple of years and I think they are doing things right and I know a lot of folks love it.
