Beautiful.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Nueces, perhaps? I see sycamore saplings at waters edge. Might be the Llano.

Must be the head waters... no way it’s mason on south, those telephone lines would be gone.

Power poles, they get replaced after flooding.

You wouldn’t put them that low below the high water mark, especially a river that raises as much as the Llano. You would be replacing every 4-5 years. My best friend has a place(same family since 1920) on the Llano, Watching that river rise over the years is a thing of beauty.

That pictures to narrow and no granite dirt anyway

For all of you wondering which river this was, it was the Llano. And yes there was tons of evidence of severe flooding. The properties on all sides hadn't even bothered to replace their fencing for at least 200 yards from the banks.

There was a group of kayakers that came by, very friendly people. Wish I could've joined them.
