This coyote did not know how lucky it was when it stepped out in the road that morning. All I had was a camera with me in the blind... bang I did not make that mistake that evening when I moved to another blind about a mile away and had this same coyote come in I believe....I had a rifle with me and a camera. After I killed one I had another one barking at me as I was going down the ladder but it was getting to dark to try to pick it out of the brush and shadows. Seen coyotes 2 more times for short second or in the distance moving....plus heard them barking 3 more times at close range. Not used to seeing this many coyotes on old sheep and goat hill country land.

He sure looks healthy. We are covered up with them in northern Jack county. They get lots of pigs to eat on our place. They look like show dogs they eat so well

I have a neighbor that use to have WT and exotics. They are dozing most of their cedar and getting rid of the exotics and are going to cattle. They were not able to raise any exotics anymore because of the coyotes. Now I am starting to hear them. I have got 7 so far this year.

great pics. Our property some mornings sounds like a dog kennel. We need to thin the herd a little.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I've heard people say that coyotes won't kill them. However, I have a trailcam pic of some hogs at a stock tank at 3:00 am, and the next pic at 3:02 is a coyote. Try to tell me he wasn't trying to have shoat for breakfast! It's the only coyote pic in two weeks of pics.

Cool. The background looks like a painting.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill
