An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

There is nothing wrong with having multiple rifles in the same caliber. It makes the ammo acquisition much easier! I have more than one .357 rifle, and more than one 300BLK rifle. Yup. Have three different rifles that all eat 308 ammo - a Remington 700, a Springfield M1A, and a G3 type rifle.

Used to hunt Prairie Dogs with an outfitter who had two identical 220 swift custom rifles. Shoot one til it gets hot, swap out and never miss a beat.

I have six rifles in .308, two of which are twin Winchester M70 Featherweights. My primary deer rifle was one of them and I like carrying a back-up rifle because life happens. When I was shopping around for a backup rifle for my M70, I thought, "why not? I like the rifle.. Why not have two?" They even wear the same scope and sling and are sighted in with the same ammo.

Now that's belief and dedication to a brand. But then, there was a time when I owned two Toyota pickups.
