Had a electrical storm at the lease that caused us to lose power. Turned breakers back on checked fuse's and all is back on except the air cond. Thermostat shows E-1 , wiring is good behind the thermostat which is digital. Someone suggested to hold Zone and Mode down at the same time and then turn on. When holding the buttons down the thermostat it's self comes on but does nothing for a/c. Have not checked to make sure the 3 wires from thermostat are connected in the control box that is next. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

How do I fix the e1 code on my Dometic thermostat? You can try removing the thermostat from its holder, unplug the comm cable, wait 2 minutes, replug, make sure the CCC2 is OFF, do the Reset, turn ON and check to see if all units are available. Okay read the posts from the link below. Your problem sounds like one I had. Judd, How do you identify the Comm cable? Is the CCC2 the thermostat it's self? If not what and how to identify? My unit in question is one 15000 dometic. Thanks

I'm sure it's different if you have the square with dip switches versus the square with the LCD in the center.
