Was on a friends ranch in the Hill Country last week and saw some pretty nice blackbucks..must have seen 10 different ones over 5 or 6 days. I am not a good judge on them but guessed them from 18" up to 23" or shade over.

Was hoping to see the Transcaspian rams but never saw them the whole time I was there but did find this skull at the HQ. This one measured just over 40" on the short side. Never have seen one other than in pictures or breeding pens. Really wanted to see one in those thick hills and elevation in the Hill Country. The last pic is one on the hunters camphouse.

Those are some very good Blackbuck. And the mounted Transcaspian amazing. I bought a yearling Transcaspian recently. They are beautiful animals.
