I know, I know, REAL men don’t eat quiche, but humor me. smile Breakfast before a road trip is always good. Yum!!!

Short poll for you all - which one does it for you?? The mild ham/bacon and extra cheddar (wife), or the bison chorizo with jalepeno/green chile and cheddar (me)??? You can see from the pepper seeds when I cooked the meat, this baby was WARM!!

There is no wrong answer; we’re gonna eat ‘em both. smile

I’ll take the mild one. I do love jalapeños but they would overwhelm the mild mix of flavors in the quiche.

When my grocery order is delivered, I’ll build a spinach, bacon and extra Swiss cheese version. I haven’t built one in a while.

Those look outstanding!

Spicey for me.
But I’d eat a piece of both.

Looks like a heck of an egg pie to me.

Get out of town. Quich only comes two ways. Good and better.

If I had to eat it, I’d prefer the spicy. Though I don’t plan on eating either one.

I bake mine in a cast iron frying pan. I some of blind bake the crust and toss in the eggs, sausage, peppers, etc.

Erathar: Sorry, my apologies, got back from hunting trip and missed your question. I use the pre-made pie crusts for ease of preparation, and my wife loves the sweetness. They make a regular, and also a deep dish version (really nice when you put a lot of fillings inside), you can even do Keto with cauliflower crust if want. We love them so much, I make two every time. They freeze great in Tupperware or Saran Wrap....

Basically just cheese on bottom, meat and veggie fillings (leave out meat and use spinach, that's awesome), and then cheese on top. I use a mix of 10 eggs and a 16oz Half and Half for my custard. Pour it over the whole thing and then bake for about 60 minutes at 375 degrees. I have a 5 inch ramekin dish that I use for the extra custard, drop in a flour or corn street taco tortilla, and pour the remaining custard mix in with whatever else you like.
