Looking at my next rifle
Bought an A.R.E. bed cover for my POS Titan, so custom rifle dreams are out.
Is it okay to have 2, 6.5 Creedmoor?
is there that much difference between the 6.5 Creed and the 6.5 PRC?
Looking at the new Sako S-20 Hunter, SIG Cross , Christensen MPR
Bad thing you can only find 6.5 Creedmoor components
My 7mm Magnum is under going surgery, be ready for discharge tomorrow.

If someone wanted a matched pair, say for hinting in far and away places, it can make sense.
I don’t see the need to have them just because
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

There is nothing wrong with having multiple rifles in the same caliber. It makes the ammo acquisition much easier! I have more than one .357 rifle, and more than one 300BLK rifle.

That being said I also have two 6.5 PRC's! I am trying to sell one!

Only if it's a .30/06 or a .300 Win Mag. Otherwise, you're only allowed to have one rifle per caliber.

2 - 260 Rem. One is purely for long range and the other is a CTR that gets hunted with and shot long range. 2 - 308 Win. One is a long range bolt and the other a long range AR10. 3 - 223 Rem. One bolt truck gun, one bolt long range and one long range AR15
Was about to buy a lightweight AR15 when the panic hit. Also shopping for another CTR in 308.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I have two 6.5 CM rifles. One right-hand Savage for my boys, and a left-hand Ruger for me. Besides ARs, that’s the only rifle caliber I have duplicates of.

My 7mm Magnum is under going surgery, be ready for discharge tomorrow. There’s only 200-300 fps difference in a CM and the PRC same difference with the 6.5-284 which in my opinion has the best brass selection (lapua) That 7mm mag will do everything a prc would do..

There is nothing wrong with having multiple rifles in the same caliber. It makes the ammo acquisition much easier! I have more than one .357 rifle, and more than one 300BLK rifle. In addition to a couple more calibers, my collection includes two .270's, two .243's, and three 30-30's, all being different models made by different manufacturers. They were all purchased while keeping in mind I could shoot the same ammo in like caliber rifles. It makes it much easier to keep a spare ammo box in your truck that includes ammo for every caliber rifle that you own.

1) Heavy Bench & Long Range
2) Mid weight PRS
3) Hunting True, But you can use the same dies, powder, primer, case and bullets. So, you don't need to acquire anything except time to work up a new load. Or, different powder (that you share with another round), different bullet, same case and primer. So all you have to get is bullets. Either way, easier ammo acquisition.

You can get a new rifle without selling the old one. You don’t have to be monogamous to your rifle. I prefer a harem.

boy, if it is "wrong" to have multiple rifles in the same caliber I am in trouble!
One of my main excuses to get another rifle in a caliber I already have, is saying things like "well I didn't haaaaave a .257 Roberts in a heavy barrel configuration, and no collection is complete without one"

My 7mm Magnum is under going surgery, be ready for discharge tomorrow. I've got 3- 243's 3- 223's 2- 22's. 2- 300 Weatherby's I guess my answer is yes!
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I had 3 243s. One a family heirloom, one dedicated predator calling rifle, and one deer rifle. 3 different bullets and loads.

Ammo is plentiful for 6.5 creed right now, every store I’ve been to has a nice ole fat stock of the 140 ELD match from Hornady.

I say yes to having two rifles chambered for the same cartridge. At one point I had four 25-06’s. Just always liked the round. Soif you like the creedmoor round I see no problem with having a second or even a third.
