Leftover Taco Tuesday meat for breakfast today.

Was going to play golf today but my neighbor brought over a small brisket and asked me if I would smoke it for them, of course.
I think the wife tried to kill this chicken again for she was injecting with all kinds of stuff and chunking God knows what on top of it? So the chicken will either turn out great for dinner tonight or?
Fortunately I have some Brats to grill later as a backup grin

Looks more like brunch to me.

The chicken is gonna be good if it doesn’t dry out. You should keep the brisket and give the chicken to the neighbor. Just say “I don’t know WHAT” happened! confused2

Breakfast looks awesome! Those homemade pickled jalapeños?

Hate to brag rofl but the brisket was dayum good, will have the Chicken tonight.

Sorry but the only picture I have is of my plate. I tried to take a couple of the brisket before cutting but I was a bit mentally impaired due to high sugar count in my blood drink7 grin

I decided to cook some Brats in the firebox for lunch, put them on walked into the house to get the tongs, came back out and they were charcoal briquets hammer

Brisket looks good, the sausage may have been better used as fuel for the fire!

I hate that. Just when the sausage is almost perfect, you get a pinhole and it's like spraying gas on a fire. Whooosh!!

Not gonna lie, stub’s pic, that’s perfect! Is it a high heat thing? The best brats I ever had were low and slow over charcoal and they took forever! They’d pop when you take a bite

Usually I cook them over a fairly high heat with burgers, turn them often and cook until the skin just starts to crack.
Man I love brats with a cold beer up

BTW I had the chicken for dinner last night, the wife did good on the seasoning it was way good.
