3 months ago I purchased a 3X14. Worked great, held zero, long battery life. Yesterday I put in profiles for 2 different bullets and saved them. Went to shut it down and had to hold the power button for 20 seconds, 1st time this ever happened. I cleaned the barrel and wanted to do a clean bore shot. Scope would not start back up. I belonged to the Facebook ATN owners group. I posted what happened. ALL post get reviewed by admins. Not only did it not get posted they threw me out of the group, it's private. Buyer BEWARE! I'm hoping to get a full refund so I can buy a Sightmark Wraith. Are there any other scopes in this price range besides the Wraith I should look at?

Sorry Chas for your troubles. We have a saying on THF about ATN, "Friends don't let friends buy ATN." Three months into ownership and my guess is that your vendor will refer you to ATN for service. Who did you buy from? Maybe you get lucky and service is good. More likely they treat you as well as the user group.
What are your plans for the scope? If you are hog hunting, consider the Wraith HD in 2x. You get a wider FOV and the digital zoom is more than sufficient to handle typical hunting needs.

HAPPY DAYS! I checked my credit car. I thought I purchased it directly from ATN. NOT! Amazon They just emailed me a UPS return lable and a FULL refund. So far the Wraith looks like the best choice. I will be using it for hog hunting but I also will be putting it on my .17 HMR to record my yearly prairie dog shoots in S.D.

There aren't a whole bunch of ATN fans on this board. Miserable customer service and indifferent quality will do that.

That's good news and a happy ending! The Wraith HD is $499 and comes in a 4x and new 2x model. The 4x is a pretty high magnification for hog hunting at closer ranges and has a narrow 21ft a 100 yard field of view. The 2x model is awesome for closer range hog hunting and has a 42ft FOV but I'm not sure it would be ideal for a prairie dog hunt since I'm assuming you'd be shooting at longer ranges.
There is a new Wraith 4K model about to hit the US for $799, 3x base mag but the shipping quantities are going to be super low until December/January, so it's going to be hard to come by.
I think you'd be very happy with the Wraith HD. It's a great optic, reliable and a bargain for the price.

I ordered the 4X. My hog hunting now is hit or miss after we lost our Texas lease to deer hunters so the main use would be prairie dogs.
