Have yall ever seen the Silverado Sage bloom like that before? The hills look like cotton candy. I've never seen it like that before it looks amazing. Side note Lake Amistad is a sad sight.

When sage blooms like that, the old saying is 3 days from that point it will rain. I have won bets on it before!!!

Wow. Just wow. I want some .silverardo sage. Noooooooo they are ugly unless they are blooming. Pics are from my dads land, they are nothing when compared to the Comstock area. I've seen them bloom before, but never like they are now. Side note this is my personal favorite plant from that area. If its not in bloom you aren't finding it.

Wow what’s that called SA? Ariocarpus fissuratus is a species of cactus found in small numbers in northern Mexico and Texas in the United States. Common names include living rock cactus, false peyote, chautle, dry whiskey and star cactus. That little guy is three inches wide, and 15 years old! Its a super slow growing cactus. I have a couple I grew from seed they are 4 years old now....

Pretty cool! They’d never even germinate if I tried that.

I have about 10 planted along a fence. They bloom before it rains, most of the time. It’s more accurate than the weatherman.
