I need to buy an average 5 channel amp. 200 watts as a baseline is probably fine.
Recommendations?

Budget? What are you looking at RMS per channel? I am guessing around 40-60 watts RMS... Sound about right?

Kevin
Thanks for the reply... I know nothing about what I'm looking for... The only thing I think I know I want 5 channels which I think equates to 4 speakers and a Bazooka sub. It's going in a '57 Convertible so there really are no good acoustic qualities. The head unit is an original Wonderbar look-alike with modern internals, but again nothing high-end at all. JBL 6in. in the front kick panels with separate tweeters and probably 6x9 or 5x7 in the back somewhere once we figure out where to put them, not many options. Bazooka will be on trunk floor mounted just behind where the top folds in.
So given all the above, just some basic/decent amp to enjoy my classic rock. Budget $200-$300'ish if possible.
Thanks! Charlie

If you dont already have the Bazooka, I would recommend this guy below from Amazon along with a 4 channel amp. Its a powered sub and sounds a hell of a lot better than you would expect for this price point. Rockville Powered SubThis 4 channel Amp should give you what you're looking for, JL Audio RD400/4If a 5 channel is what you need, I'd go with this guy. Has some good specs for the price. Thanks... I do have the Bazooka already, I picked it only for size/shape as it will go underneath the nitrous bottles (air tanks for suspension) and still leave trunk area. So if the sub is powered (I forgot if it is or not), all I need is a 4 ch. and if it’s passive, then get the 5 ch.? Thanks Charlie
