I love the little ones, they are fun to watch, especially during the first cool fronts.
I have seen little guys like that during archery season, mid-October. Looked like they just hatched.

If you do the math those does were bred probably in Feb=Mar. Probably were the ones that were this size the year before. Unbalanced herd.

I would say she was bred in March almost for sure.

Those little guys are getting a late start and that doe did pretty damn good having twins that late in the summer!


High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Same here, watching them play and learn to use those legs, can be captivating. Better than TV and no "my pillow" commercials!

You are saying those fawns are 6-7 months old? They still have their spots, and the site I'm linking to says the spots fade away at 3 months.
