Grandsons came and filled all 6 feeders a week ago. I went there yesterday, got on a 4wheeler, and checked for activity. No corn on ground and nothing but pig tracks. We've shot them, trapped them and they are still everywhere.

Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

I have 4 or 5 huge Oak trees in the area around my barndo. Came out the other morning and it looked like I had plowed under each of the trees. I was sleeping within yards of the activity, and never heard a peep. Guess they came through and scarfed every acorn and grub, then moved on...like Dave, we trap and shoot all we can, but too many to really make a dent.

Very large round feed pens have solved that problem for me...plus I shoot or trap all I can. I let my neighbors who don't have feed pens have all the hogs they want. Works out perfect for me.

Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?[Linked Image]

This works like a champ for me as well.

My neighbor down the way has 5000 acres did a helicopter shoot in April of 19 and took almost 300 hogs. In Aug of 19 he did another helicopter shoot and took 384 or 408 hogs can't remember the exact number, plus 20 some coyotes as I recall. My buddy lives right across the street from his ranch. Within weeks, they started seeing hogs again all over his ranch (152 acres). He said they're just as bad as they were a year ago.

Just unreal how fast they can multiply and repopulate an area!

Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

I put up feed pens but they still circle them daily. We trap and shoot all we can with very little difference in overall numbers
