Driving down the highway and you look on the shoulder and there is one (1) shoe.
Where did the shoe come from??

In the morning when I walk the dog I find interesting objects on a section of road with a slight bend. I'm thinking people set stuff on top of their cars and forget about it as they're driving off and it slides off at the bend.
Weed, drugs, booze, bank bag with cash, shoes, gloves, tools, wallets, cell phones, etc.
I've found several nice pairs of mint Nike shoes including a tan leather pair that sold for $200 on Amazon. They happened to be my size too. It's like forgetfullnes manna.

This is funny that it came up today. I saw a shoe in the road in Jacksboro Saturday and I found myself sitting at the stop sign wondering where that one shoe came from.

The shoe in the road, is not as puzzling as the shoe/boot in the middle of no where. I have found a random shoe/boot on south Texas ranch's, SE forest, or west Texas. I even ask a buddy " where is the other shoe" His reply was I really do not care about the other shoe, just do not want to stumble on the Body.

If the universe does have an end/wall/limit etc....what's on the other side? Some things our human brains will never be able to comprehend. The Navajo have a tradition of putting one boot on a fencepost at the entrance/turn-off to their place. 'Boot facing in means they're home. 'Boot facing out to the main road means they're gone. So you don't waste your time. Common courtesy. A rare thing nowadays. But I digress.
