Bacon wrapped, pepper jack stuffed Andouille sausages. BIG jalapeño poppers, so mixed up a bunch of Gorgonzola and cream cheese, Took an entire package of bacon to wrap everything... The kitchen smells so good right now, and the stupid timer still says 8.00 minutes. I’m watching it like a house cat looking at a fish bowl!! Some proper snacking finger foods, to munch on while watching the weather Channel and keeping an eye on all our Texas friends. Our contacts in Matagorda have been getting pretty steady rain for a few hours now. I’ve also seen some flooding at Sargent, Freeport, and Surfside. Stuffed the sausages, wrapped them in extra bacon to keep the cheese in. Made a nice Gorgonzola/cream cheese filling for the poppers and wrapped them, and filled up the mushroom caps with left-over stuffing from the freezer. It was browned pork sausage, some cream cheese, Italian bread crumbs, and a little Panko crumbs to thicken up.

If I ever win the lottery I will buy a private jet to fly from DFW to Idaho Falls to eat supper at Blank's house...every day.
